1. Who we are
Future Proof Technology OÜ ("we", "us"), Vesivärava tn 50-201, 10152 Tallinn, Estonia, operates futureproof.technology. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us through the contact form or by post at the address above.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact form — name, email, company, budget band, and your message. Used to reply to your enquiry and to handle privacy-related requests submitted through the same form. Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to a request you initiated).
- Exposure check booking — name, email, company, tech stack, preferred time, and notes. Used to schedule and prepare the call you requested. Legal basis: steps prior to entering a contract.
- Job applications — first name, last name, email, cover letter, CV file, and the role you applied for. Used to evaluate your application. Legal basis: steps prior to entering a contract. Kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Analytics and advertising (consent only)— if you click "Accept" on our cookie dialog, we enable Google Analytics 4 (usage statistics) and Meta Pixel with Meta's Conversions API (measuring the effectiveness of our advertising). The Conversions API may send Meta a SHA-256-hashed version of your email (only if you submitted a form), Meta's browser identifiers (
_fbp/_fbc), your IP address, and browser user agent. Legal basis: consent. If you click "Reject", none of this runs. - Privacy-friendly measurement — we use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.
- Server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP, timestamps, requested URLs) for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We only set analytics and advertising cookies (_ga*, _fbp, _fbc) after you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it anytime via the "Cookies" link in the footer; rejecting stops tracking and removes Meta's identifiers.
4. Who we share data with
Service providers processing data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Twilio SendGrid (email delivery), Google Ireland (analytics, with consent), and Meta Platforms Ireland (advertising measurement, with consent). We do not sell personal data. Transfers outside the EEA rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
- Enquiries and booking data: as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months after.
- Job applications: up to 12 months.
- Analytics data: per Google and Meta retention settings (typically up to 14 months).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form and describe your request — we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
