The platform under
every agent we ship.

We architect and operate the cloud platforms that keep AI products honest in production — vector stores, secure pipelines, observability, cost guardrails. AWS, GCP, Azure. Your accounts, your data, your control plane.

What we build

The platform layer,
built to stay boring.

Infra as code, retrieval pipelines, observability, and cost guardrails — the same production bar on every layer that sits under your AI.

Platform

Infra as code

Reproducible infrastructure end-to-end — Terraform, IAM, networking, secrets. The boring foundation that makes everything else cheap to change.

  • Terraform-everything
  • Least-privilege IAM
  • Multi-env from day one
Data

Retrieval pipelines

Postgres, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate. Ingestion, embedding, hybrid retrieval — and the eval set that proves they're actually working.

  • Versioned embeddings
  • Hybrid BM25 + vector retrieval
  • Re-rank + dedupe layers
Observability

See every call

Traces, logs, evals — every model call, every tool call, every cost-per-request. The control room your team runs the system from.

  • OpenTelemetry-first
  • Per-tenant cost reports
  • Eval scores wired into CI
Cost guardrails

Fail closed, not expensive

Hard budget ceilings, alerting, automatic fall-throughs to cheaper models. Production AI either works or it backs off — never “runs up a $40k bill overnight.”

  • Per-call cost caps
  • Budget-aware retries
  • Cheaper-model fallbacks
How we work

Audit to operate,
with the lights on.

Phased migrations with rollback plans and your team on every call. We document everything, then optionally stay on-call for a quarter.

01Week 1Audit

Map what you've got

Cost breakdown, security review, deployment topology. Outputs: a one-page diagram of where the money goes and what's at risk.

02Week 2–3Architect

Pick the right boring tools

Cloud, regions, data residency, identity. We pick architectures that minimise surprise — yours and ours — five years out.

03Week 4–8Migrate

Move with the lights on

Phased migration with traffic shifting and rollback plans. Your team is on every call — no ops handoff from Mars.

04OngoingOperate

Run-book then retainer

We document everything your team needs to run it. Optionally we stay on-call for a quarter — by then, your team doesn't need us.

Common questions

The things every
first call covers.

Not here? Email us at hello@futureproof.technology — we reply within one business day.

Whose cloud accounts do we deploy to?

Yours, by default. We work in your AWS / GCP / Azure accounts, with IAM scoped to the project. We hand off the keys when we walk away, and there's no Future-Proof-hosted infrastructure that your system depends on.

Do you do SOC 2 / HIPAA / GDPR work?

Yes — we've shipped HIPAA-aligned and GDPR-aligned systems. We bring controls, audit trails, data-handling policies, and a written runbook. We don't certify on your behalf, but we do prepare your evidence.

Can you migrate us between clouds?

We have. The honest answer: “can” is rarely the right question — usually you don't want to. We'll do the trade-off math with you and recommend the cheapest path to what you actually need.

How do you control runaway AI costs?

Three layers: per-call cost caps (the system fails closed at threshold), budget-aware routing (cheaper model after N tokens), and per-tenant cost dashboards. Most customers cut spend 30-50% in the first month.

Do you support self-hosted models?

When the math works. For high-volume, latency-sensitive, or compliance-restricted use cases we'll run open models on your infrastructure. For everything else, frontier APIs are still the cheaper, faster answer.

What about disaster recovery?

Cross-region replication, point-in-time backups, documented RTO/RPO targets. We test the runbook on a quarterly cadence — not just write it.
